Maltepe Municipality search and rescue teams acting on  a tip-off saved a seagull trapped  in the air vents  of a house. 

The veterinarian and Maltepe Municipality search and rescue teams who respond to calls on animals at every opportunity and who helped and treated 15,000 street pets last year, responded to a call and saved a seagull  trapped  in the stairwell of a house from a difficult situation.  The municipality teams who freed the seagull after 20 minutes, took it to the Veterinary Affairs  Directorate for treatment. The treated seagull is recovering after treatment. The residents  of the house thanked the  municipality teams for their  effort  in saving the seagull.
